The Year of the Word

This is my Bible, God's Holy Word, His love letter to my heart.
• it speaks of His movement through His-story to save me;
• it speaks of His redemption for all in Christ Jesus;
• it speaks of His concern revealed in the infilling, abiding presence of the Holy Spirit.

SUNDAY NITE LIVE!

Begins September 7, 2008.  Meeting in the fellowship hall beginning at 5:30 PM.  This study will feature Betty Webb facilitating the study of the book of Jonah.  The class normally meets for one hour and then adjourns to the nearby McDonalds for food and fellowship. 40 Days of Prayer for our Nation

Beginning on September 26, 2008 we are beginning an special emphasis of 40 Days of Prayer for our Nation.  This special emphasis will run from September 26, 2008 right through election day 2008.  Plan to take 10 minutes per day to pray for our nation, our leaders and the selection process for the future.  God promises in His Word in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

We encourage you to join other believers from this church and from churches across this great country in 40 days of prayer for our nation.  Here are some of the benefits of this prayer focus:

 1.  We will be united in prayer as a church

2.  God hears and answers the prayers of His people.

3.  America will be impacted by the prayers of millions.

4.  Everyone can participate.

5.  Our nation will never be the same.
